Johnny Silverhand wasn't just a legend,
no, he was a man with a vision and a song in his soul,
but I think you should know about the gun in his hand,
and all of that chrome that changed that man into a god,
With a metal soul,
Where will it go when he dies?
Will it make it home,
or just get caught up in a telephone wire?
Before he was Silverhand he was known as Quickdraw,
and he sought to bring the ISA* to its' knees,
didn't happen and then they made clones of the Hand,
so he could say it again,
rise three days later and then,
With a metal soul,
Where will it go when he dies?
Will it make it home,
or just get caught up in a telephone wire?
(Breaking news. Today at 4:30 PM, while en route to the Arasaka Center, Mr. Johnny Silverhand's limo exploded into a giant fireball.
Seventeen were confirmed dead at the scene. All limo occupants.
The police are calling it an accident. Here's Tom with the weather.)
With a metal soul,
Where will it go when he dies?
Will it make it home,
or just get caught up in a telephone wire?
Some people go down in history,
Some people go six feet deep,
but not he,
(Mr. Johnny Silverhand's agent's announcements that shows the very same day in Cuba and Tokyo have confirmed the ISA*'s suspicions that there could be thousands of Johnny Silver hand clones.)
(So to you I say, Mr. Silverhand. You may have escaped Arasaka, you may have survived the ISA*, but this is motherfucking Sault Ste Marie, Ontario and this city can kill anybody. This city can kill anybody.)
*Incorporated States of America: A fictional dystopian future government which eventually replaces the USA. This song is based off a character from the PnP RPG Cybergeneration where Johnny Silverhand is a part cybernetic rock god bent on taking down a corrupt government. This takes place after all the "Edgerunners"(anti-corporate revolutionaries) sell-out and a new plague breaks out which turns kids into supermutants, but kills adults outright.
